Hi!
How are you? Do you also feel no one asks this question these days? People simply assume us to be okay. Or perhaps sometimes we are the ones who should be asking this to others. However it is, I wish you to be okay. And if you are not right now, I am sure you will be. For the desires, dreams, dreads and everything else settle down eventually.
I have seen people complaining about Mondays. I was also one of those. But lately, life has turned a reverse gear and I have become few of those who are idle on Mondays. And to have on my platter what the world craves is no good. I have realised that a day off when the whole world is working is more of a punishment than a blessing. We feel better (okay, I) when we are syncing with the world (especially when it comes to holidays).
On my idle day, I did something special. And that was to dig into my journals which I have written all my life. Crazy, how time passes and my mere obsession with diary writing has led to a massive collection of journals at my home.
I have always adored people who write letters, doodles and keep things secret. Glad I have become quite like those. Moreover, those who keep journals and are called introverts in this ‘too obsessed world of putting people into categories’ will relate to the tie we feel with the sentiments we preserve in those pages.
This newsletter will be less about words and more about those pages. Here, for the newsletter I am putting some art(poor)I have done all these years in my journals. The purpose of this is nothing but to feel good about the little things we do in our lives. To go back to the times when we were doing nothing for this world and our livelihood but for ourselves.
This newsletter is all about feeling good.
That’s all from my feel-good collection. These creations are proofs that I had some amazing alone time in my life. If you have a journal you didn’t take out for long, it’s your sign to pick it up and read your past. Believe me, You will be amazed to see how far you have come in life.
And we will connect here soon with some more wonderings. Until then, how about buying a new journal?
Aakanksha.
